Charles approaches fees on a case-by-case basis but the normal model is a fee shared equally between parties. It would include reasonable preparation time, travel and a day from typically 9.30am-6.30pm. Time in excess of that on the day is charged at an hourly rate. Other models include hourly rate charging throughout or a half-day booking with preparation.
Further bespoke processes over several meetings can also be arranged. In all cases Charles is happy to discuss matters with the prospective appointing party, their client and opponent if wished so all can be satisfied that his experience and style are appropriate.
